In celebrating our 20th year and mission of excellence in education and service, we will unite our law school community and celebrate the countless achievements and new developments that have enhanced our institution.
20th Anniversary Events & Honors
- Reception on Friday, Sept. 25, 2009, at the Ashton Depot, to honor those community members who have contributed to Texas Wesleyan School of Law. Former faculty members and deans will be in attendance. This event includes a historical video presentation; a proclamation presentation by Rep. Phil King ’95; and an alumni award presentation. - Luncheon and Plaque Dedication on Friday, Dec. 11, 2009, recognizing our first graduating classes at the December 2009 Graduation ceremony. You will receive a formal invitation for this event in the mail as the date approaches.
- Distinguished Alumni Nominations We will honor 20 distinguished alumni at a special event in the spring. These individuals will also be featured in a special edition 20th anniversary distinguished alumni book. Find the distinguished alumni nomination form and more info here. The deadline for nominations is Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009.
We sincerely hope that you will take an active role in these events and participate in the various alumni activities that we have planned for you throughout the year. As an alumnus, you have helped us achieve great success and have been instrumental to our growth in downtown Fort Worth. This is a time to celebrate all that we have accomplished as a law school and we couldn’t do that without you!
