Dear Fellow Graduates,

I’m writing to you because I need you to join me in a very important cause. Our clients put their futures in our hands every day. Whether it is in the courtroom during a criminal trial or handling a transaction, the fate and well-being of individuals rests on our shoulders and our legal training. It’s an incredible responsibility.

We have yet another responsibility, to insure the future success of Texas Wesleyan University School of Law. Whether you were a day or evening student, you had the opportunity to benefit from everything Texas Wesleyan University School of Law offered…dedicated faculty, the Law Review, student activities, scholarships, advocacy programs, and the Law Clinic just to name a few. And for many of us, but for Texas Wesleyan University School of Law, we would be unable to pursue the practice of law.

It is our turn to join the many alumni who have already helped Texas Wesleyan University School of Law. One of the ways this can happen is increased alumni participation in the annual fund. It is our goal to increase annual giving, and I challenge you to make this year a success! Together, we will increase the Texas Wesleyan University School of Law reputation and the value of the diplomas that hang on our walls.

I have had the great pleasure of not only being a student at this fine institution, but I have also worked as an attorney and an administrator at the law school. I got a chance to meet the students, work with the faculty, and influence our institution. The power we have to impact and influence others is the greatest gift bestowed upon us. I encourage you to exercise that power you have, and impact our law school by making a donation to the annual fund. Texas Wesleyan University School of Law has come a long way. Now is the time to take it one step further.
